Modimolle-based career adviser, Victor Legoba, who also doubles up as a tutor, took it upon himself to help prospective students who want to apply for admission and registering at institutions of higher learning.

He assists young people with other academic-related advice, to make the process of applying and registering easier.

“When I was applying for admission at tertiary after completing my matric, I found it very difficult to successfully complete the task. I had to stand in long queues just to submit my application, since I was using the manual application,” he said.

Legoba said lack of proper career advice and making the right choices before registering for a qualification, was the reason why many students dropped out during their term of studying because they often make harsh decisions in choosing their courses.

He told The BEAT that through his programmes, he assists students to choose careers that they love, something which will place them in a better position to be employable after completing their studies.

Although Legoba mostly targets students from Modimolle and the surrounding areas, he also helps people from as far as Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng through his Facebook page, which is followed by no less than 7000 people.

People who need advice or any assistance in relation to applying and registering at tertiary institutions can call Legoba on 079 412 4213, send a WhatAapp message to 073 056 7039, email or follow Student Future First on Facebook.
